praline is pretty common
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Praline my understanding of it is that it's sort of a nut and sugar paste I've seen it quite a few times on chocolate labels.....
couple in particular that come to mind
http://www.cadbury.com.au/Products/Bloc ... arble.aspx = Cadbury marble chocolate contains
Quote:
hazelnut praline centre
(I always remember that one as I almost got caught out with it once as it used to be many, many years ago just a marble of white and dairy choc.....
and these....
http://www.guylian.be/en/products/boxed ... -original/ Quote:
There are all made of the finest Belgian chocolate filled with the delicious Guylian roasted hazelnut praliné
Kinder chocolates when I was a child used to make one with a Praline filling and I think in more recent years the Kinder Bueno had it so the Kinder range is a big one to be aware of as it is such a kid chocolate!
I think also some of the Lindt chocolate range has praline filling. Also seen it/or similar listed as "hazelnut cream filling" or "almond cream filling"
Should also always watch nougat
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nougat there is quite a few nougat containing chocolates I can eat e.g. mars bar but nougat as per wikepidia's description
